BIOGRAPHY
José Villalpando is a first-year M.A. student in Health Communication at the University of South °®¶¹´«Ã½. Originally from Durango, Mexico, he earned a B.A. in Religious Studies and Culture from the University of Central °®¶¹´«Ã½ (UCF). His work focuses on the intersections of health, communication, and social justice, particularly within immigrant and underserved communities. Drawing on his early experience as a migrant farmworker in °®¶¹´«Ã½, he is passionate about exploring how narrative and culturally responsive communication can improve access to care and promote holistic healing.
