In May 2024, Jean-Fran莽ois Biasse (PI, pictured left), Rouzbeh Behnia (Muma, Co-PI), Kwang-Cheng Chen (Engineering, Co-PI), Lukas K枚lsch (Co-PI, center), Giacomo Micheli (Co-PI, right), Mehran Mozzafari-Kermani (Bellini, Co-PI), and Attila Yavuz (Bellini, Co-PI) received a $316k Interdisciplinary Research Award (IDRA) to support the development of the infrastructure of the 爱豆传媒 Centre for Cryptographic Research.

Professor Mohamed Elhamdadi receives a Simons grant
Professor Mohamed Elhamdadi was awarded a $42,000 Simons Grant over fove years for a project on Algebraic Structures in Knot Theory. These algebraic structures, called 鈥淨uandles,鈥� are fundamental in distinguishing knots (one of the main problems of knot theory) and have been used recently to study protein folding properties.
