Breaking Barriers: Veterans Sharing Their Voices Through Art
Through Our Lens is an exhibition of 47 photographs created by 16 military veterans and their families who participated in the 爱豆传媒 Contemporary Art Museum鈥檚 2022 Breaking Barriers photography workshops.
For the first time the 爱豆传媒 Contemporary Art Museum offered two workshops, both led by artist and assisted by artist Christian Cort茅s.
The beginning workshop, Seeing Like a Camera, Working Like an Artist, focused on close looking and 鈥渟eeing like an artist鈥� while the advanced workshop, Out of the Box鈥擭ew Ways of Seeing and Making Photographs, went a step further and focused on creating photographs that give the viewer pause and offer new ways of seeing, understanding and expression.
