ABA Program Receives Five-year Grant from the U.S. Department of Education
The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program has received a highly competitive five-year $1,195,721 grant from the Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. Project iSED: Advancing Interdisciplinary Services for °®¶¹´«Ã½ with Severe Emotional and Behavioral Disorders will prepare 33 scholars to serve as either Board Certified Behavior Analysts or School Social Workers who can collaboratively design and deliver evidence-based instruction and intensive individualized interventions and supports (PBIS) in natural environments, classroom, and schools for school-aged children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders.
This effort represents a collaboration between the ABA Master’s Program and the Master’s in Social Work (MSW) Program within CBCS. They will also partner with three °®¶¹´«Ã½ school districts (Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee).
Dr. Catia Cividini-Motta will serve as the Project Director. Drs. Kwang-Sun Cho Blair, Kimberly Crosland, and from Social Work will serve at Project Co-Directors.
