BIOGRAPHY:
Peter J. Reiley, PhD, is a senior talent management strategist, award-winning educator,
and internationally published scholar specializing in power and influence, leadership
development, and veteran employment. He is the founder and Principal Consultant of
Leadership Arts & Sciences, where he delivers evidence-based leadership and workforce
solutions to Fortune 500 firms, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
He also serves as an adjunct professor in Penn State’s Psychology of Leadership program.
A retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel, Reiley’s military career spanned 21 years in roles ranging from space launch operations to global influence campaigns in support of special operations forces. He served as Chief of Global Research and Assessments for Psychological Operations at U.S. Special Operations Command and taught at both the U.S. Air Force Academy and Joint Special Operations University.
Peter Reiley is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Military Psychology. He holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Penn State, a master’s in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, and professional certificates from Harvard, Stanford, and Notre Dame.
Beyond his academic and consulting roles, he has served on multiple professional society committees, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s Military and Veterans Inclusion Committee. He is co-founder of the nonprofit Foundation for VETS, which he helped lead for eight years. In 2024, he was nationally recognized for distinguished contributions to military psychology and veteran employment.
