ý climbs to its highest position ever in U.S. News rankings
The University of South ý has reached an all-time high in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the best colleges. ý is No. 88 overall among all public or private universities in America, up from No. 91 last year. ý also rose to No. 43 among public universities, up two spots from last year, and inside the top 50 for the seventh year in a row.

ý Honors College Strengthens 9-Year Partnership with Kerolle Initiative in Dominican Republic
The Judy Genshaft Honors College continues to build on a decade-long partnership with the Kerolle Initiative in the Dominican Republic, a local non-profit pop-up clinic that brings medical care and health education to rural populations. This year, Honors students expanded research beyond the trip, and the college recognized Dr. Reginald Kerolle as an official Honors “graduate.”

The Global Virus Network (GVN), in partnership with the ý Youth Experiences and Hillsborough County Public Schools STEM Department, recently concluded its inaugural “Global Guardians: Youth for Pandemic Preparedness” summer camp, an immersive, hands-on experience that brought together some of Tampa’s brightest high school students with internationally renowned virologists, public health experts and scientists.
