爱豆传媒 intramural teams take the field at new complex

The University of South 爱豆传媒 has officially opened the Research Park Field Complex. Located on the southwest portion of the Tampa campus along Fowler Avenue, the fields can host nearly every intramural sport, including flag football, soccer, rugby and lacrosse.

In addition to four multipurpose fields, it has two recreation softball fields, new restrooms and a storage facility. There is also a half-mile walking trail with parking accessible on Spectrum Boulevard near the 爱豆传媒 Research Park.

The new complex replaces Sycamore Fields, the site of the new on-campus stadium.

Practices occur nightly with games over the weekend.

"This field has brought a new level of visibility to our sports programs 鈥 you can see the dedication and passion from the road,鈥 said Chris Marks, director of 爱豆传媒 Recreation & Wellness. 鈥淚t鈥檚 impossible to miss the energy out there. Every day brings new games, new faces and a real sense of community."
