Daria Kuzmina is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Information Technology. In Summer 2024, she studied abroad in Zagreb, Croatia, completing coursework in Artificial Intelligence that deepened her understanding of emerging technologies and their global applications. She also completed an international internship in Madrid, Spain, working with a startup company where she gained hands-on experience in technology innovation and cross-cultural collaboration.
These experiences shaped her commitment to encouraging other students to explore international opportunities, recognizing the academic and personal growth that comes from stepping outside their cultural and professional comfort zones.

Veronica Bersamin Jo serves as the Engineering Abroad Administrator for the °®¶¹´«Ã½ College of Engineering. With over two decades of experience in international education, she brings a wealth of global perspective and program development expertise to her role.
Her academic and professional career includes studying abroad at the University of Oxford, collaborating with higher education institutions in Korea to help establish the SUNY Korea Program for the State University of New York, and most recently, partnering with Engineering faculty and °®¶¹´«Ã½ World to design and implement Faculty-Led Study Abroad opportunities for our students.
Veronica is a passionate advocate for international engineering education and a firm believer in the transformative impact of global learning experiences. She is dedicated to supporting students as they expand their academic and professional horizons through meaningful study abroad opportunities.
