The Great American Teach-In (GATI) invites °®¶¹´«Ã½ faculty and staff to engage with K-12 students by sharing their careers, reading stories, or leading classroom activities. This program strengthens community ties, inspires students, and raises awareness of opportunities at °®¶¹´«Ã½. Teachers and schools can request visits, and employees can volunteer to make a meaningful impact in just one hour.
How it Works
- Sign Up: °®¶¹´«Ã½ employees who wish to participate can by Friday, October 10, 2025, via the °®¶¹´«Ã½ Employees GATI Interest Survey (If your college or department is already participating, please take a moment to complete the survey. Your input helps us capture the full extent of °®¶¹´«Ã½'s involvement).
- Share Your Expertise: Fill out the survey to share your expertise, availability, and preferences.
- Matching Process: Our team will match you with a school based on your profile and preferences.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email by Friday, November 3rd, 2025, confirming your match and providing details about the school and event.
- Sign Up: Interested K-12 educators in the participating districts can by Friday, October 10th, 2025, to request a °®¶¹´«Ã½ presenter via the K-12 Educator GATI Interest Survey.
- Select Your Preferences: Provide details about your school's needs and preferences in the survey to help us match you with the right °®¶¹´«Ã½ presenter.
- Confirmation: Once matched, you will receive a confirmation email by Friday, November 3rd, 2025, with details about your °®¶¹´«Ã½ presenter.

Make your Great American Teach-In presentation more impactful by incorporating °®¶¹´«Ã½-branded materials! Giveaways strengthen your message and inspire students to explore opportunities at °®¶¹´«Ã½. To receive materials, please complete the Qualtrics survey and indicate your participation in the event. Once we have your information, our team will help arrange your pickup.

During this week, we work to pair °®¶¹´«Ã½ employees with K-12 classrooms, ensuring each speaker is matched to a school and prepared for their Great American Teach-In visit.
Your Great American Teach-In Match
October 27th, 2025
From October 27 through each district’s Great American Teach-In event, we will communicate with matched speakers and facilitate event details. Speaker-classroom matches will continue to be made up until each district’s GATI date to ensure all classrooms are covered.
