The Global Virus Network, a coalition comprising the world’s foremost experts in every class of virus causing disease in humans and some animals, today announced that °®¶¹´«Ã½ Health, at the University of South °®¶¹´«Ã½ in Tampa, Fla., will serve as GVN’s Southeast United States Regional Headquarters (°®¶¹´«Ã½ Health).
The University of South °®¶¹´«Ã½ Health is the first regional headquarters named by Global Virus Network to support the coalition's global headquarters (EurekAlert!).
Less than a year into their research, several projects from the first round of °®¶¹´«Ã½'s COVID-19 Rapid Response Seed Grant Program have advanced to create new technologies to detect and fight the virus, as well as insights into the impact of the pandemic in our communities (°®¶¹´«Ã½RI News).
