Thank you for your interest in becoming an official international recruitment agent with °®¶¹´«Ã½ Silicon Valley Extension. We invite collaborative relationships with professional educational advisers and institutions around the world that facilitate life-changing experiences for international students.
By working in partnership with °®¶¹´«Ã½ Silicon Valley Extension, you¡¯re sending your students to a highly respected institution devoted to education access and a high-quality curriculum.
As the professional education division of the University of California, Santa Cruz, we deliver more than 30 certificate and specialization programs for professionals¡ªwithout the complicated admissions process.
We are accredited by the (WASC).
At our international representative portal, you'll find information and tools for your work with international students, a brief overview of all programs, information on the student application process and policies, commission details, and promotion and payment information.

STEP 1: Applicant screening process
- Introductory email¡ªSend an email to us with the following?information:
- Your Statement for Services Performed Outside the U.S.
- Confirmation that you are incorporated AND have three or more employees.
- Agency Name
- Contact Name
- Phone
- Mailing Address
- UC Affiliation¡ªAnswer the following:
- Are you a current University of California (UC) student or employee?
- Have you been a student or employed by the UC within the last two years?
- Complete
STEP 2: The contract process
- Provide signed Master Agreement (A DocuSign link will be provided for signatures)
- Note: It can take up to four weeks to be processed.
STEP 3: Getting acquainted
- Download the campus brochure.
- Schedule a meeting with our International Department.
STEP 4: Start working
- Share the advantages of professional studies in Silicon Valley.
- Help students apply for the °®¶¹´«Ã½ Silicon Valley experience.
- Start sending out Student Applications. (Please note: We will only process completed applications.)

Full Time Certificate Programs
What is a certificate?
Our full-time professional certificates provide a recognized credential that combines academic theory with practical knowledge, making them directly applicable to a professional career. Certificates provide concentrated study of the latest skills and best industry practices in less time and at a lower cost than a traditional degree program.
What is a short program?
In a short program, students complete 12 units in a high-demand business or technology field in one quarter and earn a digital badge. They focus on gaining specific key practical skills for their resume in a fast-paced, interactive learning environment.
What is Open Campus?
Open Campus offers students a unique opportunity to take courses on the coastal campus of UC Santa Cruz. Just 35 miles south of the Silicon Valley campus, students are able to fully participate in °®¶¹´«Ã½ courses without matriculating through the traditional admissions process.
Don't forget
Student visas
Students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States must obtain an F-1 visa to attend our full-time programs. Learn more about our visa requirements (Link to new visa page COMING SOON.)
Student emails and communication
Please ensure that, as the agent, you are not creating a new student email address. We require students to have their own email addresses and to communicate with our office any requests and payments of fees for their associated student account.
International student housing
We recommend several housing options, including private and shared apartments, houses, and homestays. Final arrangements are made directly between the student and the housing provider. .
