The UC Santa Cruz course is for people actively working in the field of coastal climate resilience. We aim to have participants apply learnings in real time. Participants are working professionals addressing coastal climate resilience, coastal risks, and adaptation solutions at local, regional, and national scales.

This includes practitioners working on coastal adaptation planning and implementation, from municipal to regional and national scales, as well as professionals from public and private insurance and risk modeling industries.

We are not accepting international applicants at this time.

There are no academic admissions requirements. The 10-week course uses a hybrid instructional format, with some synchronous and asynchronous online programming, plus 2.5 days of in-person instruction at the , 115 McAllister Way, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
